More...This award was launched to coaches at the 2008 coaching conference and is designed for club coaches to deliver comprehensive training for club coxes.What will the award qualify me to do?
The Certificate in coxing is a competency based award. Candidates will receive a certificate of attendance.
How long is the award?
The course consists of a face-to-face module and a set of competencies that the cox has to be able to demonstrate. The time taken to meet all of these competencies will depend on the experience of the cox and coach and how active the cox is.
What resources will I receive?
The resources will be available to coaches and coxes through RowHow which will enable candidates to look at them in their own time. These include interactive games and quizzes to assist in developing cox’s competencies as well as video tips from the GB coxes!
How do I apply to attend a course?
Courses will be set up locally by L2 club coaches.
