All entries and payments to be made through BROE. Payment to be made before the draw. 2. Entries open at 09:00 on Thursday, 16 December 2021 3. Entries close at 12:00 (noon) on Sunday, 30 January 2022 unless closed earlier on an event or division basis due to oversubscription. 4. The draw will take place on Sunday, 30 January 2022, coordinated from PCRC, and will be released on our website by 22:00 that day. 5. Pewter tankards will be awarded to the fastest crew in each event, where three or more crews have entered. 6. Please follow any national, local and British Rowing guidance regarding COVID security in place at the time of the competition. 7. On-site catering will be available around the boating area throughout the day. 8. Competitors are encouraged to leave the site as soon as their racing has finished. 9. The Organising Committee reserves the right to alter the course or remove certain events due to adverse weather conditions. 10. Competitors, coaches and guardians agree to abide by all Government and British Rowing COVID-19 Guidance in place at the time of the competition including social distancing and hygiene. They should actively carry out a self-assessment health check and are recommended to carry out a Lateral Flow Test (negative result) before attending. If anyone shows signs of COVID-19 before the event they should not attend. If someone develops symptoms on the day, they and their household / crew / group members should leave immediately and inform the COVID-19 Officer via phone. 2. Should the Head need to be cancelled either before or during the competition on the grounds of safety or instruction from statutory authorities with regard to COVID-19, we will endeavour to make a partial refund of entry fees once accurate costs have been calculated. 3. The race is upstream and usually into a head wind; all crews who enter must be of sufficient competency to race in these conditions. 4. For large events, we may use BROE’s CRI to band these into smaller categories. 5. For Juniors: a. J15 events: Only open to J15s; J14s are not permitted to race up b. J16 events: J15s may enter c. J18 events: J16s and above may enter 6. Where necessary, Masters events may be combined, and race times adjusted using the British Rowing handicapping system. 7.
