The GB Rowing Team is the high performance arm of British Rowing. Rowing is the nation’s most continuously successful Olympic sport, having won a gold medal in every Olympic Games since 1984, and has won six Paralympic golds since the sport was introduced to the Paralympic Games programme in 2008.

Graduate of the highly successful British Rowing Start programme, Ellie Lewis stepped up to join the GB Rowing Team senior squad in 2017.
Lewis first appeared on the international rowing stage in 2011 when she raced in the women’s fours and women’s eights at the Coupe de la Jeunesse. The following year she was selected for the women’s four at the World Rowing Junior Championships – finishing 7th. At under-23 level, racing alongside fellow senior squad members Emily Craig and Gemma Hall, Lewis won a fine bronze medal in the lightweight women’s quad sculls at the World Rowing U23 Championships in Linz, Austria.
She was selected as travelling spare for the 2017 World Rowing Championships in Sarasota, Florida.
