Entry Requirements
This regatta will act as the first phase of the selection process for the 2026 GB Beach Sprint & Coastal Teams.
Racing will take place in coastal single sculls in a 500m time trial format, leading into 250m side by side racing.
All boats will be provided, competitors will be required to provide their own sculling blades.
Entries will be accepted in the following categories:
Senior;
U21 (born no earlier than 01/01/2006); and
U19 (born no earlier than 01/01/2008).
Entries will be limited, therefore those wishing to enter must include a 250m ergo score with their entry, which must meet at least the following minimum standards;
U19 Women (born no earlier than 01/01/2008) - 00:47.5
Senior Women (born no earlier than 01/01/2006) - 00:46.0
Senior Women - 00:45.0
U19 Men (born no earlier than 01/01/2008) - 00:42.0
Senior Men (born no earlier than 01/01/2006) - 00:41.0
Senior Men - 00:40.0
Further restrictions on number of entries may be applied, depending on the number of entries received and the number of individuals meeting the ergo standards listed above.
Therefore, entering the event will not guarantee acceptance into the regatta. If you are not successful in being accepted into the GB Beach Sprint Regatta then you will be issued a full refund.
Entry Process
Enter the event by paying via JustGo (by 1st March).
Submit a 250m Ergo Score on the Ergo Submission Form (by 1st March).
Wait for confirmation of acceptance (on 6th March).
Entry Deadline – Sunday 1st March
Confirmation of acceptance of entry – Friday 6th March
Event State: Accepting Bookings
