Peterborough Junior Championship (ML)

Notes: Important Notes 1. All entries to be submitted through BROE. 2. Entries close at 22:00 on Saturday 20th June 2026. Should an event become oversubscribed before the official closure date and time, that event will be suspended and a waiting list created. 3. Due to capacity limitations and in the interest of fairness, clubs/schools should submit no more than three crews in a given event. Any more than this will be rejected. 4. Entries in any one event may have to be limited at the discretion of the organising committee if there is a very high level of demand, a waiting list will be setup accordingly. 5. The draw will take place on Sunday 21st June 2026 and will be released by 22:00 on Monday 22nd June 2026. 6. Entry Fee: £17 per head (excluding coxes) payable via BROE ONLY. 7. Doubling up between Divisions is permitted, but NOT within a Division. 8. All events will be from a stakeboat start. Crews are expected to have a competency in backing down and attaching. 9. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in all “A” Finals. 10. Additional prizes will be awarded to the individuals showcasing the “Best Cox” and “Best Watermanship” skills. 11. The Victor Ludorum Shield will be awarded to the most successful school/club. 12. We ask every club with more than 10 crews entered to provide appropriate adult volunteers who can assist for the duration of the day to help run the competition. 13. Food, drinks, cake and general refreshments will be available to purchase. Please bring your own refillable mugs if possible. 14. Competitor Instructions will be published together with the draw. 15. For any queries, please contact [email protected]. 17. Minor finals may be removed from the timetable should adverse weather conditions or delays to the racing schedule occur. 18. Should the regatta need to be cancelled either before or during the competition on the grounds of safety or instruction from statutory authorities, the regatta will endeavour to make a partial refund of entry fees once accurate costs have been calculated.
