Support for your racing and training
Race members can be entered in affiilated competitions by your club entries administrator via ‘BROE’, the British Rowing Online Entries system. There are hundreds of head races and regattas to choose from each year, all over England.
In between competing, you can keep track of your progress as you develop your rowing skills with our interactive Rower Development Guide tool.
Insurance
As an individually registered member* of British Rowing, you receive the benefit of Public Liability insurance and Personal Accident cover to protect you whilst participating in rowing.
Public Liability covers the cost of defending yourself against a claim for damages if you’re held responsible for injury to someone else or damage to their property. British Rowing members will only be required to pay the excess for the claim.
*Insurance is provided for Race, Row, Coach, and Umpire members, and for Day Ticket holders on the day of the race only.

Coaching courses
As a British Rowing member you can access for our specialist coaching courses. These start with Coaching Assistant training and then go through Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications.
We also run coach development workshops, for example, on strength and conditioning, and high quality land training.
