Tormed School seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to support our Head of Rowing in providing a high quality and inclusive coaching programme.
Tormead School is an academically selective independent school for 800 girls aged 4–18, located in central Guildford.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to support our Head of Rowing in providing a high quality and inclusive coaching programme.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a UKCC Level 2 qualified rowing coach
- Have experience of teaching and advising on rowing and sculling technique at all junior levels
- Have experience and understanding of fitness training and compiling appropriate training programmes
- Have experience of assembling successful crews
- Have experience of boat rigging and ability to set up optimally the rig of any type of boat
- Have experience or the willingness to learn to tow the trailer as per boat club logistics
