You must now enter directly through World Rowing! Please make sure to check our updated ranking policy below. The World Rowing Coastal Championships are an international coastal event where entries are encouraged from both clubs and national team crews, in line with the eligibility requirement that ‘a rower shall be a member of a club recognised by the member federation’ and the entry sanctioned by their National Federation. British Rowing as the National Federation is responsible for the ranking of crews from Great Britain. The 2022 event will be held in Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, Wales from the 7th to the 16th of October. More information about the event can be found on the World Rowing Coastal Championships website. Entry and Ranking Policy 2022 World Rowing Coastal Championships British Rowing Entry and Ranking Policy (Updated 02/03/2022) How to Enter World Rowing Coastal Championships FAQ’s. 1. Making an Entry Entries can be made via World Rowing. Full information regarding entries can be found via Bulletin 2, found here. 2. RankingOnce the World Rowing entry deadline has passed, World Rowing will pass crew information to British Rowing. British Rowing will be rank crews based on the 2022 World Rowing Coastal Championships British Rowing Entry and Ranking Policy. Only crews that have completed Clean Sport e-learning and are members of British Rowing, Scottish Rowing and Welsh Rowing will be ranked. 3. Anti-doping All competitors, coaches and support staff are bound by the UK Anti-Doping Rules as adopted by British Rowing. All coaches and competitors will be required to complete Clean Sport e-learning before competing at the World Rowing Coastal Championships. This course can be found at https://www.ukad.org.uk/cleansporthub. Please note once you have registered on the Clean Sport Hub, the relevant e-learning will appear in the “My Learning” tab. Upon completion of the e-learning you must upload your certificate to your British Rowing Profile. This is done as follows: 1. Log in: https://britishrowing.azolve.com/ 2. On ‘My Profile’ go to ‘Credentials’ 3. Click ‘Add Credential’ 4. Type ‘Clean Sport’ and select from the available options the credential you are uploading. 4. Payment There is a 35 Euro fee which will be paid directly to World Rowing when entering. 5. World Rowing BulletinsWorld Rowing will regularly update its event webpage and release a number of bulletins in the run-up to the event with information about the event. Additional Help & FAQs Attending the event It is the responsibility of each club/crew to make sure they have everything they need for the event. As the member federation, British Rowing is responsible for ranking entries, ensuring they are members of British Rowing and that they have completed Clean Sport e-learning but not the logistical day to day support for crews entered. Coastal Rowing Kit British Rowing do not have a set kit supplier for the World Rowing Coastal Championships. For clubs/crews wishing to purchase kit for the event make sure you are aware of the World Rowing Rules before making any orders. Coastal rowing requires crew members to display on their racing shirt or equivalent, the three-letter country code and their family name (in Romanised text) in the following manner and format.
