Lizzie graduated from the University of Bath in 2019 having completed an integrated Masters degree. This included a placement year working as a Sports Scientist at the New South Wales Institute of Sport in Sydney, Australia.

Upon finishing her degree, she worked at British Rowing as a Sports Scientist for one year before moving to work for the English Institute of Sport as a Physiologist with British Swimming for the Tokyo Olympic year. She returned to British Rowing in May 2022 as Sports Scientist for the Women’s Olympic Squad.

In her current role, Lizzie supports the team across the disciplines of physiology, biomechanics & performance analysis. Lizzie enjoys working as part of a close-knit team in a high performance environment, where everyone is driven to achieve success. Lizzie enjoys supporting the athletes to reach their potential and build on their medal successes. Lizzie attained her BASES (British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences) accreditation in September 2022.

Outside of work Lizzie enjoy playing netball and regularly bakes cakes for the staff in Caversham!
