Jo Bates is Performance Programme Manager - Team Support.
Following a degree in Sport Science, Jo headed down the Sport Administration career path. After a short spell at UK Sport, she moved to the British Olympic Association as Accreditation & Sports Entry Administrator for Team GB at the Sydney Olympic Games.
Jo joined the Performance Directorate of British Rowing in 2001 as a member of the Performance Programme Support Team, ‘the team behind the team’, where one of her key roles is supporting the Olympic & Paralympic Squads as Team Manager at Olympic Games, World Rowing Championships, European Rowing Championships and World Rowing Cup events.
