Andy Houghton

Andy took up rowing when he was 27 years old after attending a Paralympic Talent Day in Mile End, London, and is a member of the adaptive squad in 2009.
His first GB vest was at the 2009 Varese International Regatta where he won silver in the men's AS single scull on both days behind fellow GB rower and Paralympic Champion Tom Aggar.
Andy has always been a keen sportsman. He previously played rugby for Hungerford Rugby Club for a number of years and still has strong links with the club. He also raced at Motocross from a very young age.
He currently works as a Network Planner within the telecoms industry.
Andy is Lottery Funded through UK Sport.
