The GB Rowing Team is the high performance arm of British Rowing. Rowing is the nation’s most continuously successful Olympic sport, having won a gold medal in every Olympic Games since 1984, and has won six Paralympic golds since the sport was introduced to the Paralympic Games programme in 2008.

We are looking for females 5’10 and taller aged between 14-22 years old, and males 6’2 and taller aged between 14-20. You do not need any prior rowing experience; just the right physique and attitude to give rowing a go. Our GB Para-Rowing Team is hugely successful, winning 50% of the gold medals awarded in Paralympic rowing since its introduction in 2008. Without new athletes though, there’s a very real risk that we won’t be able to field a full team after Tokyo. We’re on the lookout for talented, driven individuals who have the right mental and physical attributes to make it as a competitive international para-rower. No rowing experience necessary!
