Individual Registered Membership

Individuals who wish to access the services of British Rowing in order to compete, register for coaching courses and receive Rowing & Regatta magazine will need to register as an individual member.

For types of memberships for individuals and a list of benefits see here.

Racing members of the club will need to take out a Gold membership to be able to enter events. However it’s also worth encouraging non-racing members to sign up for a Silver membership.

As well as giving the individual benefits and helping to keep them engaged with the sport, having club members take out individual membership of British Rowing is advantageous for the club. There are discounts on insurance if more than 75% of club members are registered with British Rowing and an active membership helps us monitor the success of the club if you decide to apply for any grants or funding.
