Start Academy Coach (East London)

London Youth Rowing (LYR), in partnership with the University of East London (UEL) and the British Rowing Start Programme, are looking to appoint a Start Academy Coach for a new exciting project based in East London. Start is a Lottery funded programme through UK Sport and Sport England.

About the Role

The aim of the programme is to identify and recruit potential athletes in Newham and East London into the Start Academy (based at the Royal Docks) who have the potential to be selected for the Olympic Team, with a particular focus on under-represented groups, leveraging local outreach programmes and the UEL talent pathway programme.

This is an excellent opportunity to coach rowers on a daily basis as part of an innovative new programme.
