Performance Programme Coordinator – Athlete Support – GB Rowing Team

Do you want to play a key role behind the scenes supporting GB Rowing Team, and the athletes that it proudly supports, to perform on the world stage?

GB Rowing Team (GBRT) is seeking a Performance Programme Coordinator to support rowers on the World Class Programme through the development and implementation of athlete-facing policies and procedures. The post-holder will join GBRT’s Programme Support Team who underpin all areas of the Team’s frontline activities with World Class support.

The successful candidate will become a key contact in supporting athletes as they enter, train within and eventually transition out of the World Class Programme.  This support will come in the form of managing the processes that provide access to the member benefits associated with the World Class Programme whilst developing the policies that govern and underpin an athlete’s time on the programme and conduct within it.

In addition the role will provide supplementary support to rowers in the form of Clean Sport and the coordination of “Friends and Family” activity including ticketing for international regattas and at Games time.

The final element of the role will include a responsibility for supporting People Development within the Performance Directorate, ensuring that rowers and staff are supported in their learning and development.

The role is a hybrid role with some home-based working combined with time between GB Rowing Team’s National Training Centre in Caversham, Reading and British Rowing’s Headquarters in Hammersmith, London.
