GB Rowing Team – Paralympic High Performance Coach

The GB Rowing Team is seeking a full-time High Performance Coach to work within its world leading Paralympic Programme.

Great Britain topped the rowing medal table for the second Paralympic Games in a row at Tokyo 2020 and has started out strong on the road to Paris.

The successful candidate will work as part of a tight knit coaching and support team alongside their Olympic counterparts as part of a “One Team” approach at GB Rowing Team’s National Training Centre in Caversham, Reading.

The successful candidate will have coached crews to a high level of domestic or international success and will have an aspiration to develop the World and Paralympic Champions of the future. Experience of working with people with a disability is not a prerequisite for a coach of the right calibre and with the skills to tailor their approach to an individual athlete.

A Job Description and Person Specification is available here.

Any questions about the role should be directed to Tom Dyson, Head of Olympic and Paralympic Performance Delivery ([email protected])

Applicants should apply by submitting their CV and cover letter to Louise Kingsley, Performance Director – GB Rowing Team, by 19 September 2022.
([email protected])

Interviews will be held on Wednesday, 28 September 2022 at the Redgrave Pinsent Rowing Lake, Caversham, Reading.

Type: Full Time

Application Dates: From Wednesday 17th August 2022 to Monday 19th September 2022
