British Blind Sport – National Governing Body (NGB) Liaison Officer

British Blind Sport are working in partnership with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) to deliver See Sport Differently, a Sport England-funded initiative that aims to break down barriers in sport and increase opportunities for people with sight loss to participate in physical activity. This role is funded through this partnership.

We are looking for a dedicated Officer to develop and strengthen relationships with identified National Governing Bodies of sport (NGBs) and undertake concentrated work with the five most popular participation sports for blind and partially sighted people, which are swimming, athletics, tennis, football, goalball and one key development area – blind rugby and VI rugby. This role will report directly to the Head of Sports Development at British Blind Sport and sit on the See Sport Differently Operational Group.
