Great Britain finished top of the rowing medal table at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, winning gold in three of the four events contested on the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, with a bronze in the fourth.

Pam Relph won her second Paralympic gold in the LTA mixed coxed four alongside Grace Clough, Daniel Brown, James Fox and Oliver James. The crew beat the USA to the win, completing a golden Paralympiad for the boat in the process.

Rachel Morris took a remarkable gold in the women’s AS single scull, while Lauren Rowles and Laurence Whiteley stormed to victory in the TA mixed double sculls.

Tom Aggar, who won gold at the inaugural Paralympic regatta in Beijing in 2008, took bronze in the men’s AS single scull to propel GB to the top of the rowing medal table.
