2013 World Championships
The 2013 World Rowing Championships took place on Lake Tangeum in the Republic of Korea (“South Korea”). The venue was hailed as one of the best in the world.
Great Britain won three gold and five bronze medals across the Olympic, Paralympic and International boat classes. The GB Rowing Team made history by setting two all-time “firsts” at a World Championships, winning gold in the men’s eight and the nation’s inaugural men’s quadruple scull medal – a bronze.
