Helen is double Olympic Champion, having won gold in the Women’s pair with Heather Stanning at both London 2012 and Rio 2016.
After stepping away from rowing to get married and have three children, Helen returned to the team in 2021 and made history when she became the first mother to compete for the GB Rowing Team at an Olympic Games, finishing fourth in the Women’s pair with Polly Swann at the delayed Tokyo 2020 Games.
Helen is back training full time and is bidding to become the first British mum-of-three to win an Olympic medal with her sights set on Paris 2024, having won a silver at the 2023 European Rowing Championships and bronze at the 2023 World Championships in the Women’s four.
