This year we have introduced an exciting new format, the Love Rowing Challenge Relay. Just get a team of three rowers together and we’ll assign you one of the stars of the GB Rowing Team. You’ll join them for a call in advance of the race and then get to race alongside them in your team.
*NEW* If you don’t have any team mates but want to row alongside a GB Rower – we have now introduced a solo version where you can enter alongside a GB Rower on your own. You’ll still have a call with them before hand and then will race across a 2k distance instead of the full 4k distance.
To help you prepare for this year’s big race, we’ve partnered up with international rower, coach and vlogger Cam Buchan to develop a great training programme. Don’t worry if you missed the start of the plan, you can join in from any week. The plan is free to British Rowing members and INDOOR subscribers – sign up today from just £3 per month and access this plan alongside other great training tips on British Rowing Plus. We also have a range of free training plans available to everyone.
If you’re not going to be able to join us on the day, don’t have the equipment required or just want a structure to help you prepare for the big day – join our free-to-enter BRIC Online League in the build-up to the event.
For the six weeks before the event, we’ll bring you a different challenge that you can take on from home, school or the gym. Even better, the first 200 people to complete four of the six challenges will receive an exclusive medal for FREE!
