Volunteers Needed for 2014 NJIRC

London Youth Rowing has a fantastic opportunity for supporters of rowing to be part of the world’s biggest indoor rowing event for young people – the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championships.

Up to 3000 schoolchildren are expected to compete at the event on March 21st, and more than 200 volunteers are needed to make sure that the even runs as smoothly as possible for the 11-18-year-olds taking part.

Both the Oxford and Cambridge crews for the 2014 University Boat Race will be attending the event to support the children, as will a number of Olympic Champions.

Volunteers are needed for a range of roles – from observers who keep an eye on the racing to people helping to sell t-shirts and merchandise to the crowds, and people to help set up and dismantle the equipment needed to put on the world’s largest indoor rowing competition.
