Intro
Will started rowing for Weybridge Rowing Club as a junior before heading to Newcastle University where he studied Physics alongside rowing for the boat club.
While there he competed for GB U23s three times winning silver and gold in the men’s eight in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
After University, he spent a year at Brookes and then moved to Leander when he joined the senior GB Rowing Team for the 2022 season. That year, he was bow of the men’s four, winning the European and World Championships. He hopes to compete at the Olympics one day.
Will is strongly supportive of mental health causes as has had to take some away from rowing and seek help himself. He wants to thank everyone who helped him through this time and all throughout his career.
