Tokyo Olympian Hannah Scott is racing in the single sculls at the 2022 World Championships.
She started rowing in 2011 at Bann RC in Northern Ireland. After winning two silver medals at U23 level in the pair with Heidi Long in 2018 and in the eight in 2019, Hannah made her senior team debut in 2021, taking silver in the quad at the European Rowing Championships. She went on to race at the in the same crew at Tokyo Olympics, finishing seventh.
In 2022 she won the bronze medal at World Cup I in the single sculls, and came fifth at the World Rowing Championships.
She joined the Women’s quad for the European Rowing Championships in 2023, where they won the bronze medal.
