Lewis’s new book is a copy of his training journal from October 1983 through to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, August ’84, and includes ‘elaborations, insights, explanations, and a waffle recipe’.ADVERT The winner of the October Photo of the Month competition will also see their handiwork adorn the pages of Rowing & Regatta – the perfect launch pad for a burgeoning sports photographer. Previous winners of the British Rowing photo of the month competition include: A. Brown, whose photograph of the Bedford Modern School VIII rowing on the Chicago Loop won the August Photo of the Month competition. Thomas Preston, whose photograph of the Oriel Men’s 1st VIII competing in Oxford University’s Summer Eights finished top in the June competition.
