Charity rowers find sea crash pilot alive

The Daily Mail reports today:

Charity costal rowers witnessed a sudden crash of a small two-seater plane into the sea right in front of their boat yesterday.

The pair captured the crash on video before attempting to help the pilot, John O’Shaughnessy, who, apart from being treated for hypothermia and shock, was fine.

Both Rob Pickering and Nick Bevan, as well as Mr. O’Shaughnessy called the coast guard, who turned up shortly after with a helicopter to winch the pilot up.

Rob and Nick are rowing for Orchid, a charity dedicated to fighting cancer in men.
