Sports Leaders UK provides nationally recognised leadership qualifications and awards through the media of sport, dance, basic expedition, language, maths and literacy that help people whatever their age or background develop essential life skills such as organising, motivating, communicating and working with others.

The courses are delivered locally, through schools, colleges, voluntary organisations, community halls, prisons; in fact - wherever there is a suitable venue.

As a British Rowing Junior Rowing Leader you will be capable of co-ordinating and supporting Indoor Rowing sessions or events with adult supervision. You will be working with other young people.

To take this Leadership Award you will have to develop an understanding of Indoor Rowing. Although not essential it would be helpful if you have been personally involved in indoor rowing.  It may be useful for you to complete British Rowing Dry Skills 3 (DSK 3) and a British Rowing Dry Speed Award (DSP).
