The following clubs have been suspended from racing.

The list is active and clubs will be allowed to race as soon as they submit their water safety audit or pay the affiliation fee

Affiliation Fees - please contact Irene Townsend as soon as possible to organise payment

Water Safety Audits - please submit your audit to the appropriate Regional Water Safety Adviser and audit@britishrowing.org

West Regional Junior Time trial

Saturday March 6th saw the West Region’s annual time trial, to select a regional junior team to compete at the Junior Inter Regional Regatta in April. The event, which took place at Dart Totnes RC, once again saw a record entry, with 63 crews from seven clubs, competing over three divisions in various events from J14 up to J16.

Peter Atkinson from Dart Totnes RC has become the first person to hold the Presidency of the West of England Amateur Rowing Association following his adoption at the recent AGM of the local rowing body.

West Region Schools Indoor Rowing Competition Programme

The second phase of the West Region Schools Indoor Rowing Competition Programme took place in January/February 2010, with the Cornwall County Championships on the January 27th, and the Plymouth and West Devon Championships on February 3rd. Reports and results for both events are below. These county/city based events follow on from the first phase of competition run by individual School Sports Partnerships.
