Volunteering for London 2012

In March 2010 British Rowing invited volunteers to express their interest in volunteering for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. On the form it was stated clearly the difference between Sport Specialist Volunteers (SSV), Generalist Volunteers (GV) and National Technical Officials(NTO) and the procedure for applications.
 
On Tuesday 27th July 2010 London 2012 invited those who are distributed with a unique code to apply for the Sport Specific Volunteer positions on the forms provided. The closing date for these postions is 15th September 2010 when application for Generalist Volunteers will begin.
 
Those meeting the criteria will be notified of a code and provided with further details during the first three weeks of August.
 
Although there will not be positions for all those who apply for SSV and NTO positions it is hoped that if you are not successful you will still be interested in a GV position.
