Sarah Cowburn

Although still an U23 Sarah raced in the senior women's quad for two of the three 2009 World Cups and at the World Rowing Championships in Poznan where she finished 5th.  Sarah won silver with the quad at the Munich World Cup and was placed 5th in Lucerne.

She was first selected for Great Britain at junior level where she raced in the single at the 2007 World Junior Championships, finishing 4th.  

Sarah learnt to row at King's School College, Worcester.

She is currently studying English Literature and Art History at Collingwood College, Durham University and will graduate in 2011.  In her spare time she enjoys cycling, painting, spontaneous road trips, beaches, travel, retail therapy and loud music.

Sarah is Lottery Funded through UK Sport.
