Samantha Scowen

Sam Scowen.JPG

Sam raced in the adaptive TA mixed double at the 2009 World Championships in Poznan, where she and James Roberts finished 5th.   This followed their fine gold medal at the 2009 Munich World Cup.  She has been without a partner for the 2010 season but this has now been resolved and she is hoping to gain selection for the World Rowing Championships in Karapiro.

She was a new member of the Adaptive Squad in 2009 and was selected for the 2009 Varese International Regatta in April where she won a silver and a bronze in the TA mixed double sculls and achieved a personal best.

Samantha completed a Foundation Diploma at Thames Valley University and has a general interest in music and film.

Sam is Lottery Funded through UK Sport.
