Rhiannon Jones
Adaptive Rowing featured only once in the 2010 World Cup Series, at Bled where Rhiannon coxed the LTAMix4+ to a gold medal. This followed the two gold medals won by this boat at the Varese International Adaptive Regatta in May this year.
Rhiannon was the cox of the adaptive mixed coxed four who won gold at the 2009 World Championships in Poznan; this success achieved by a crew with two rowers and their cox completely new to World Level rowing until that year. She had already coxed the boat at the Munich World Cup winning gold.
Rhiannon's father taught her to scull when she was 10 years of age. She raced in a double at junior level but then decided she would be more successful as a cox.
She graduated from Reading University with a degree in Psychology.
Rhiannon is Lottery Funded through UK Sport.
