Natasha Howard

Natasha was selected for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in the women's eight.  Natasha helped the eight to qualify for the final but due to illness was unable to race in the final. She is currently recovering from injury which has kept her out of the boat for the World Cup series. 

Natasha was a newcomer to the GB senior women's squad in 2005. In 2007 she won the women's pairs event at the GB Rowing Senior Trials. She raced in the eight in the 2007 World Cup series, always reaching the A Final and finishing 2nd, 5th and 4th. In the 2008 World Cup series she raced in the eight finishing 6th in Lucerne and 3rd at Poznan. 

Natasha learnt to row at the University of East Anglia in 1998 and rowed for a year for the University of British Columbia, Canada. She is a member of Tideway Scullers School.

In 2005 Natasha raced in the eight that won bronze at the Eton World Cup regatta in May before switching to the four for the Lucerne World Cup finals in July where she won bronze. She went on to be part of the women's eight that performed so well at the 2005 World Championships in Japan, finishing 5th.

During the 2006 World cup series she was a member of the eight that finished 6th in Munich, and then followed up with a bronze in Poznan and 4th in Lucerne.

At the 2006 World Championships at Eton the GB women's eight finished 8th.

Natasha grew up in Zambia, Hong Kong, the UK and Namibia and graduated with a degree in Ecology from East Anglia in 2002.

Natasha is Lottery Funded through UK Sport.
