Max Gander
Max was selected in the men’s coxed four for the 2009 World U23 Championships, finishing 9th. In 2008 he coxed the GB junior men’s coxed four to silver at the World Junior Championships.
He was selected for the GB squad for the 2009 Youth Olympic Festival in Sydney, Australia, where he won a gold medal in the eight.
Max took up coxing in 2004 whilst at Abingdon School.
He will be studying Geography at University College London from September and enjoys playing the guitar, studying Japanese and break dancing.
