Karl Hudspith

Karl raced in the men's eight at the 2010 World Rowing U23 Championships in Brest, Belarus winning a bronze medal.

He raced in the men’s coxed four at the 2009 World U23 Championships, finishing 9th.  He has represented Great Britain at both junior and U23 level.

Karl finished 5th in the men’s eight at the World U23 Championships in 2008 and 4th in the men’s eight at the World Junior Championships in 2006.  

He enjoys many sports, he played hockey, basketball and tennis before he took up rowing. Karl took up rowing whilst at school because he did not enjoy football.

Karl is studying for a BSc in Biology at Oxford Brookes University and hopes to do a DPhil in Molecular Biology as he would like to become a researcher in the field.
