Henry Fieldman

Henry raced as cox of the men's eight at the 2010 World Rowing U23 Championships in Brest, Belarus winning a bronze medal.  He raced in the same boat at the 2009 World U23 Championships, where he also won a bronze medal.

In 2008 he finished 5th in the eight at the World U23 Championships.  He also represented Great Britain at the Coupe de la Jeunesse in 2006 where he won gold in the men's coxed four.

He was born and brought up close to the Tideway. He started rowing at the age of 14 at Latymer Upper School Boat Club, initially under the leadership of Don McLachlan and Bobby Thatcher. Afterwards he spent 2 years at the University of London Boat Club coxing both the women's and men's squads.

When he isn't coxing, Henry is studying Zoology at Imperial College London and has a particular interest in evolution and philosophy.

He enjoys watching films, spending time with friends and family, live music and eating.
