Atlanta St John

Atlanta was a bronze medallist in the quad at the 2007 U23 World Championships. She was selected in the women's four for the 2009 World U23 Championships, where she finished 5th.

Atlanta played hockey while at school but started rowing in 2003 because she did not like tennis, the alternative school sport available during the summer term. She first represented Great Britain as a junior 2 years later in 2005 at the Coupe de la Jeunesse, where she won a gold in the coxless four and a bronze in the eight.

She was a National Schools Regatta gold medallist in 2003, when she won the coxed fours event.

Atlanta also won the elite single sculls event at Women's Henley Regatta in 2007 and junior single sculls at BUSA Regatta in 2006.

Atlanta studied History at Reading University and is particularly interested in American History. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies and going shopping.
