Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games
For the first time in its history the Paralympic Games will be held in South America, in the Brazilian capital of Rio de Janeiro.
The rowing regatta will take place on the spectacular Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas in the heart of Rio, just 10 minutes from Copacabana beach with a spectacular backdrop of mountains, the Tijuca Forest and the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue at Corcovado.
Several of the GB Rowing Team’s 2012 adaptive squad had not even started rowing before the last Paralympic Games in Beijing, so if you think you have the potential to succeed as an adaptive rower then contact the GB Rowing Team office.
