 Robin Williams MBE

At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Robin coached the women's pair of Heather Stanning and Helen Glover to a Gold medal and was awarded the MBE in the 2013 New Year Honours list.

At the World Championships in 2013 in Chungju, Korea, Robin again coached Helen Glover to Gold in the W2-, this time with newcomer Polly Swann as her partner.  He also co-coached the W8+ with Chief Coach, Paul Thompson, to finish in the medal zone just two seconds off the bronze medal.

He learned to row at Monmouth School.

He rowed at University of London Boat Club and gained his first GB vest in 1981 when he was selected for the Worlds.
