Olivia Oakes

Olivia was selected in the women's four for the 2009 World U23 Championships, where she finished 5th.

Olivia was introduced to rowing at Warrington Rowing Club in 2001 through the ARA’s Project Oarsome scheme. Since then she has represented GB at junior level, finishing 5th in the women’s double at the 2008 World Junior Championships, adding to the gold medal she won in the quad in 2007 at Coupe de Jeunesse.

She also competed at the Australian Youth Olympic Festival earlier this year and won gold in the women’s quad and finished 4th in the women’s eight.

Her ambition is to represent GB at a Senior World Championships or Olympics.

In her spare time she enjoys socialising and travelling.
