Jamie Watson

Jamie raced in the lightweight men's quad at the 2010 World Rowing U23 Championships in Brest, Belarus winning a bronze medal. 

Jamie started rowing in 2002 at Windsor Boys' School where rowing was the main sport.   He gained his first international vest at the 2006 Coupe de la Jeunesse where he won gold and silver in the junior men's quad.  In 2007 he took gold in the lightweight men's single scull at the Home International Regatta and silver in the same boat at the National Championships.  In 2009 at the National Championships he won silver medals in the lightweight men's single and U23 double scull.

When not rowing Jamie enjoys playing hockey.  He is currently studying for a degree in Cell Biology at Durham University.
