At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Caroline coxed the women's eight, finishing 5th.

During the 2012 World Cup Series, Caroline coxed the women's eight. The crew won a bronze medal in Belgrade, finished 5th in Lucerne and won bronze again in Munich.

At the 2011 World Rowing Championships in Bled, Slovenia, Caroline coxed the Women's Eight of Alison Knowles, Jo Cook, Louisa Reeve, Natasha Page, Lindsey Maguire, Katie Greves, and Victoria Thornley. The crew won a Bronze medal, just 2 seconds behind Canada.

During the 2011 World Cup Series Caroline coxed the women's eight, taking a silver medal in Munich and 4th place in Lucerne.

At the 2010 World Rowing Championships on New Zealand's Lake Karapiro, Caroline coxed her crewmates in the women's eight  to 4th place.

For the 2010 World Cup Series Caroline coxed the women's eight at all three events, winning gold in Bled, silver in Munich and bronze in Lucerne.  This was a promising season for the women's eight who had shown consistency throughout the World Cup series.

Caroline learnt to cox at Oxford Brookes University in 2001.  She became National Champion in the women's coxed four in 2002 and in 2004 was the men's eight cox at the World University Championships. 

She won her first GB vest in 2005.  Since then she has coxed the women's eight at each World Championships with her best result an excellent bronze medal at the 2007 Worlds in Munich which also clinched the crew's qualification for the Olympics. 

She was cox of the women's eight for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and finished 5th.

Caroline raced as cox of the women's eight at the 2009 World Championships in Poznan, finishing in 5th place.  This followed the eight's gold medal at the 2009 Banyoles World Cup and 5th place in Munich.

She graduated from Oxford Brookes in Human Biology in 2004 and has put her career as a science teacher on hold for the time being to concentrate on coxing.
